The best method to prepare lead (II) sulphate from lead (II) oxide?

is by adding dilute nitric acid followed by dilute sulphuric acid. WHY?Any website with pictures?

Both lead oxide and lead sulphate are insoluble, so you have to go via a soluble intermediate, and prepare the sulphate by precipitation. So your method is correct.
