My friend gave me her Ipod because she got a new one. I know how it works an all that jazz but.,.... It still says (blanks) Ipod.
How do I change it to say (my) Ipod?
I looked all over the options but there is nothing that says anyhting about this.

when it's linked to Itunes (plugged into your computer) and the computer recognizes it...you can click the name and change it to anything! You can not do it with the pod alone.

You have to reset it! It will ask you what you want to name your iPod after you reset it.

when you connect it and itunes opens, right click on its name on the left side, choose rename, rename it and then hit enter.

You can also reset it.
