I have a wireless router that works right now, I use it to work my laptop. Can I hook the PS3 up wireless or do I need to run a wire from the PS3 to my desktop? Please be as specific as possible, I am not too good with computer lingo. Thanks!

If you have the 60 GB version, that comes with the wireless card inside the console system. If you opted for the cheaper PS3, then you might not be able to go wireless with it. The system should automatically detect your internet connection. You will need to set up an account to be able to log on and use their internet services. It is a bit confusing at first, so you should definitely refer to your manual. Also, to make navigating the web easier, you can set up your keyboard and mouse to be connected to the PS3 so you don't have to take forever to type in information. There doesn't seem to be a lot of information about this (even on the PS3 website!) so it's really trial and error. My fiancee and I had to try for quite a bit before we figured it out completely, but since we made so many mistakes, I can't tell you exactly how to do it. Sorry.
