Freight (or free, same thing different nomenclature) on board, if it is FOB destination, the buyer does not include the asset in his records until it arrives, if it is FOB shipping point, the buyer records the asset when it is delivered to the post office.

Free On Board means the transportation or shipping is paid by the shipper to the place named like FOB Los Angeles Ca. If you lived in Monterey Ca. the receiver would have to pay for the shipping beyond L.A. to Monterey.
