(assuming windows) There is a script blocking your mouse click event. Two ways to do this:
alt+Prt SC keys at the same time will copy an image of the current window to the buffer. Open paintbrush and paste the image there, then select what you want and copy to->file
Install Mozilla firefox for a browser and then install the no-script extension (start under the tools menu, then get scripts). Block scripts for the site you want, and you can right click to save - unless they use a script to display the image. Then you won't be able to see it at all.
I've used both of these and they work.

I'm assuming reboot did not help.
Is it on a web page?
You can try file save as.
and select HTML
You can do this with a lot of programs but not all.
There will be a folder with all the images and extra stuff in that page.
You can also clean out your Internet temp folder then go to the site again.
In the temp folder you should see the image, flash, css, wmv and just about everything.
And like everyone saying, you can all ways use your screen capture but I would suggest using Irfanview instead of paint.

Take a screen shot, open it up in any photo editing software, crop out everything but the picture.
You can find free photo editing software on the internet, such as Picassa from Google.

The only way around this is to take a screenshot (print scrn button) and copy the image out using a program like photoshop or paint.

If you used Firefox, sites that like to disable right click,
you can still get the pic.
If it is one of those sites that even Firefox can,t steal,
just get a capture program, to save it.

it's webmaster trick no-way to copy that photo by using right click, instead of hacking that scripts, try download managers (DAP) and add url of the photo and download and enjoy, you can find photo url on the statusbar or in the addressbar
