My advise is uninstall it and follow this direction-- unplug all connection from the BT sockets if they are more than one,then insert micro filters to all of them,insert the cd that came with your speed touch modem into the cd-rom and follow the on screen instruction,and after installation reboot or restart your computer and connect to the internet. you should be fine, good luck.

try taking the cover off the main phone socket and plugging the filter directly into the socket beneath the cover, if it does not cut out on you, then replace the main phone socket.

what happens is that over time and plugging and unplugging phones into the socket the pins wear down causing a bad connection, that is why i use the socket beneath the cover
