First, Novus Ordo Seclorum means "A New Order of the Ages" NOT "New Secret Order" or "New World Order"--learn Latin

Second, Freemasons do NOT worship the devil--that was a lie promulgated by a 19th century Frenchman to embarrass the Catholic Church (it's well-documented)

Third, Freemasons do NOT have a secret society--no one hides the fact that they are members and the rituals have been posted on the web. Freemasons practice their ceremonies in private to emphasize the serious nature of the lessons that are taught.

Fourth, there is no plan for world government in Freemasonry--the Grand Lodge of each US State, Canadian Province, Brazilian State, and European country is completely and totally independent of every other Grand Lodge. There is no higher organization to plan a world takeover.

First off your translation is wrong:
Ordo Seclorum mean "a new order of the ages"
"Novous Ordo Seclorum" in a refined translation neans
"A new world order" in other words a new country.

It doesn't. It says: Novus Ordo Seclorum, which roughly translated means: A New order of the Ages. It says nothing about a "new secret order"

Dudes, read the web-link, not your paranoid thinking. PS. go to school, and learn Latin, like I did.

It's Latin for "A New Age has Arrived". It's a phrase common to Masons of higher orders in the 18-19th centuries, the idea behind which is the overthrow of hereditary monarchy. The "Eye of Providence" above the pyramid is also symbolic of the inevitable failure of tyranny because the educated working classes (who are the bread and butter of Masonry) will always abolish it.

I always thought NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM meant "A new order has begun". Read into it what you will but I am surprised you missed all the Number 13 things?
