We see you more clearly, warts as well as beauty spots. But you also distort the view, which makes us confused.

People actually, via TV or Internet, understand more about what is going on in there (the U.S.A.). They know that there are more than, the government 's, opinions into United States that opposed to many controversial issues (like wars). They also understand and realize that many ethnic groups are forming United States and live together. That means that they can simulate, in some degree, the globalization effect that concerns many ethnic states. They can also derive conclusions from it. Finally the people in other countries, they can talk direct to the "American people" which helps reducing retaliation plans against citizens into the U.S.A. By the "direct contact" feeling, they find a way to demonstrate their points to U.S. citizens. That gives to some extremists, like the Tali-bans, an alternative way to "talk" to citizens, which reduces the need for a direct terrorist hit against U.S.A. like 9th/11/2001. That is why it is a good thing to have some sort of communication with an opponent.
The technology also gave the chance to people to "consume" some of the U.S.A. 's products, or bi products, for free or with in a reasonable cost, which differently couldn't have regularly. All sort of information 's and solution 's are traveling through Internet. United States are a test bed for others, an example to follow or to avoid and even a smaller model of the rest of the world under one goverment.
