Jeremy L has a good point. That does make a difference. But kobe just scores. The MVP has to be on a dominant team and has to be very versatile. I think Arenas or Dirk would be good choices. Dirk is probably the best candidate.

Kobe, his team is nothing without him. I try to think of the MVP in this mind set. If you were to remove the MVP candidate from his team, how would his team fair? I strongly believe that even without Steve Nash, the Suns wouldn't be doing that bad. However, removing Kobe from the Lakers... I'm not sure if they'd win more than 10 games.
Kobe is my 07-08 MVP

Nash shouldnt even be considered for MVP!!!!
That being said, my MVP candidates would be either Dirk Nowitzki or Kobe Bryant!!! (in that order)
Arenas & Mcgrady, sounds like a joke for MVP candidacy

Dirk has to be it! He is the only guy from the Mavs who's going to the All-Star.. that's something.. not to mention that he's doing his job night in night out and that Dallas is the team with the best record... I dunno but in my opinion he's the MVP.. He's improved his play all around and is the go-to guy no matter who else is on the field...
