go to virgin mobile site and under Need some Help? click for forget password or account details...they will send you a verification code and later you will be able to login to your account and see your account number..

I had the same problem. I called the new carrier and they called Virgin Mobile and they gave me the account number after I gave them my password. You can also call Virgin Mobile directly but you don't want them to cancel your phone (just get the account number) because then you may not be able to transfer your phone number.
