My friend and I were talking a few days ago and she recently found out that she is pregnant with her third child in five years. We recently just watched the new movie in theaters (Because I said so) and the mom hadn't had an orgasm ever and still had three kids. I thought it was a load of B.S. but my friends no its true she hasn't had one since before the first baby was born, but yet she is pregnant for the third time, I however have the regulary and are trying to get pregnant without much success, can you really get pregnant with out orgasming??

yes! although they say an orgasm may help the little sperm swim to your egg, it's definitely not necessary.

Wow. I'd never heard this one before. Orgasm has absolutely nothing to do with conception. A woman's egg releases at the same time of the month regardless of what she is doing. If it happens to come into contact with sperm, that is what creates conception. The orgasm might bring the two into contact a little more quickly but one really has no bearing on the other.

Yes, you can get pregnant without havin an orgasm. It is not necessary for the woman to orgasm to get pregnant. It does help however, orgasm causes spasms that move the cervix slightly so it greater increases its contact with sperm. If your trying to conceive and have had no luck it might be time to see your doctor or at least buy an ovulation predictor. Good luck and have fun trying.

There is no scientific proof as of yet that having an orgasm effects the chances of pregnancy. It makes the trying process more exciting, but has nothing to do with reproduction. Some women never have an orgasm their entire reproductive lives and still have children.

Women all over the world are producing children despite the all elusive female orgasm!
It helps move the sperm in the right direction, but it's not an essential part of conception.

I dont think I ever had an orgasm while conceiving my 4 kids. If you have intercourse in your most fertile period (5days) to ovulation day thats when you can get pregnant. If you read Shettles method recommends woman to have intercourse once on ovulation day along with an orgasm you have greater chances of conceiving a boy.

Yes, you can get pregnant without orgasm. You can get pregnant even if the man doesn't orgasm as most men produce pre-seminal fluid before actual orgasm although it is certainly difficult to get pregnant this way.

Yep you can. A lot of women wont have an orgasm until they are pregnant or after they have their first baby. All it takes is a good swimmer. Mom really can just lay there.

Only the man has to orgasm. The womans orgasm is helpful in conceiving, (it makes teh cervix dip down to collect the sperm) but its only the man thats needs to. Hence why nature made it harder for men to last longer than women...
