Your dr probably can't tell you exactly when you missed your pills but being pregnant is a pretty good indication that you weren't exactly on top of the bc situation

There's no need to lie to the doctor about whether or not you were on the pill. They would probably want to know so incase you were still taking the pill when you became preggo... The doctors aren't there to judge you, but to make sure you and your baby is healthy. So they won't say, it was because you didn't take the pills regularly right?
I became pregnant while on the birth control pill. I think another medication interferred, who knows... I had taken them regularly. Anyways, that doesn't matter... what matters is the health of your baby. Remember this! And remember the doctors aren't or shouldn't sit there and judge you. THey will ask you things like were you doing drugs, alcohol, smoking ciggs, etc. just so they know what to look for if there is something wrong with the baby.
Goodluck.

I was 'on the pill' to 'regulate my periods' when I got pregnant for the second time, so it is 'possible' to get pregnant even if you take your pills 'religiously' ... but your doctor needs to 'know the truth' and if you've been 'skipping pills' on some days and taking two on others, your 'reproductive system' could be 'screwed up badly' in a way that you may 'need help' medically. Your doctor doesn't really 'care' one way or the other about whether you take your pills 'as prescribed' ... he simply wants 'whatever the truth is' so he can 'treat you' if you have any 'problems.' SO TELL HIM THE TRUTH. He is 'your doctor' and he can NOT tell anyone else your 'history' (including whether you take your pills properly or not) without your written permission to do so, even if you are a 'minor' and your mother is sitting 'right outside' ...

well first off he'll know right away ether you missed a pill or you never took your pill or you st-oped taking your pill because your pregnant so other than that I don't think there is a spacial test or device that can detect that so only you know and it is to your best advantage to tell your Dr. the truth because what if something happens he is not going to know what the cause or maybe the out come of things so Good Luck to ya

Why do you want to lie to your doctor? There is no reason to. He is there to help you and has no emotional investment regarding your motives for what your do or don't do. By lying to your doctor, you are only making things harder on yourself in the long run because he won't be able to give you the best care becuase the bogus information you provide.

No your doctor can't tell. It is important to be honest with your doctor. Your health and your baby's is on the line. Why not tell the complete truth?

nope.... don't think he can tell but at the same time it's not verly likely that you would become pregnant on the pill if you were taking it correctly so it might be kind of obvious

I can't understand your motives for this question. It's irresponsible to lie to your doctor.

Nope, but you're pregnant regardless, and honesty is better than a lie.
