After a product is patented, what should Nick do?

I have a friend named Nick who made a product and he had it patented. The product that he invented is a hoot! I have good vibes about it and it's going to be marketable. The only dilemma is, how can we advertise it, and which companies should we contact to make this new product a worldwide success?
