It depends on where the mooner is.

At midday it will be rising if at first quarter, setting at last quarter. At some point during daylight hours it is always in the sky except when exactly full (sets at dawn, rises at sunset).

At EXACTLY midday (solar noon) then, you would think it would not be visible. However, due to the refraction of the atmosphere the moon (and the sun) seem to rise a little earlier and set a little later. So at noon, when the moon is exactly at one of the quarter phases, it will still be a bit above the horizon--unless the moon is at a point in it's orbit where it is far from the ecliptic south of the sun (north of the sun in southern latitudes); there the horizon may hide it for several degrees on it's normal 180 degree path across the sky. This is for the very same reason that days are shorter in the winter--the sun has a shorter path to follow across the sky, due to the inclination of the axis of the earth.

Certainly, but not everyday, and not when it's too full. You might find the moon on either side of the sun, but the important thing is to look for it along the same path in the sky that the sun takes. Happy moon-gazing!

well, depends what your definition of midday is. But the simple answer is Yes, very much so, but not everyday at midday.

Of course you can see it at day time depending on the angular distance between the moon and the sun. The more separation the better risibility.

Certainly, contrary to popular belief, the moon isn't just something you see at night. It's there during the day, it's just a little harder to spot.

Yes, but I have no clue why.
I think it may be easier to see it when it is full.
I also think that like the stars it is always there but because of the daylight and rotation we cannot see them.
