He used a form of brainwashing...Took in "homeless" or runaways, who were easily led to believe they were being cared for and about, and brainwashed that "the establishment" and their parents weren't "where it was at", that "the man" was the reason they didn't fit into society, with massive help of drugs.....manson, was a self absorbed nut job bum "cult" leader, just like jim jones who convinced those hundreds of people to drink poison kool-aid, and give it to their children to commit mass suicide... He was so drugged out, and a product of childhood abuse, by the time he was a young adult, he was beyond help, and the drugs just made him a bigger nut job, that was capable of talking those people into doing what they did.....He should have been extinguished a long time ago for what they did to just Sharon Tate alone.....

but charlie just found young people and these people were just as crazy as he was and i guess lsd and drugs was a big part of it.
but he told them to kill and they did
to uderstand this more read helter skelter
charles manson aint as bad as you would think
he is just crazy and has had a rough life.
