If you like this guy as you say. Then I was you I will tell him. I know that you are scared, but you will never know unless you ask, and if he rejects you, it will be devastating, but at least you would know if he does or doesn't like you or if he will or will not date you because he might feel the same way you feel, so you never know!
There are billions of people out there. Don't just settle for one! SO NEVER BE AFRAID TO ASK, IT'S THE ONLY WAY.

have respect for that other person and put the shoe on the other foot. you wouldn't like it if they did that to you. wait and see if they break up and then make your move, but don't interfere. maybe you'll meet someone you like just as much before then.

i would wait it out, and the first sign of them breaking up, jump in for hte kill, good luck, and dont push for it to happen cause it will only get u know where fast
