I know a lady from a group that I belong to who is dying and has a month to live. Although I don't know her personally and have never met her I want to give her something special, something personal that would remind her of the friends she's made in this online group. Does anyone have any ideas?

why not give everyone in the online group your e-mail, without letting her know, and have them all write something special she has done for them, or something that they will remmeber about her, etc. Then put them all together as a kind of memory book and send it to her, it will be so special for her to see how many lives she has touched and how many people care about her.

Friendship is very special and I think keeping in touch with her from all members of the group. So I would suggest an email from each member at least a couple of times a week. I am sure she would appreciate the emails and the fact that the members care enough to be bothered.

Me myself I would find out if she's a religious person and give her something like a picture of a cross with a poem written on the inside of it. If she's not a religious person just hold a more personal conversation with her see where her mind is and ask her how she feels about her short time on this earth, she might just need someone to talk to on a more personal level.

writing about her and what she ment to each individual.

time, friendship, support, care and kindness....thath she can take and have with her always......you can do that online with special notes, poems, thoughts, email pictures, music, video, .....you will also always have special memories that will come wiht this that you will be albe to take with you always too. i hope this helps and enjoy what time you all have.

i would send her a card its sounds corney but my sister is dying from breast cancer and she has enjoyed all the cards from people she has received i would send a thinking of you card just sign it your online friends let her know you are with her in spirit...

a meaningful poem for her to read before she goes...it'll make her at least know that a lot of people will miss her.
