No. It's not too small or two big. Like the 3 little bears, it's just right.
I think the 14.0's are too small and the 17.0" are too large. Esp. if you're taking it to work or to the coffee shop ect.
15.4"'s are also have wide screen resolution, so watching DVDs and playing games will work well.

my 14.1" is too heavy to lug around daily > up n down
> just wish i had a sleek 12.1"
(& yes, 14.1" is the absolute outer limits for portability,, unless u'r a sumo wrestler or similar build)
i saw a few 10.6" & .... sigh , too expensive for me
gotta desktop at home, so no worry ... it can take any size monitor my wallet can supply

Yeah, kinda, I think a 17" would be decent if your looking for a monitor.
