Sirius: R.A is 6h 45m 8.9s. Meridian crossing at midnight, 1 July.

More or less, could be off by a day or two.

It depends greatly on your exact location, Vega and Sirius cross the meridian each night at around 10:15 pm est tonight (2/7/07) and a little earlier each night afterwards. That is for Indianapolis. If you live east of here it will be, for example, about 9 pm est in New York. The further west you live from me, the later the time when it crosses the meridian. Vega is July 1.
