Hi, I'm taking a trip to boston this weekend to see the bruins play (go go black and gold!) but I"m from Philadelphia..what i'm wondering is there any like dive bars in the area? Just like dank dirty little holes that are fun to drink in? Or just any advice on what bars or resturants to go to..along with an addres. Thanks!!

the best place to eat is the north end, the italian section of boston ( you can watch the bruins and afterwords walk to the north end,no more then 10 min).
i suggest you eat at Piccolo Nido in North street. it s a bit out of the main street(hanover st) that's why the food is better and the service is better as well. i know there is a web of this restaurant try to google it.
right next where the bruins play there are a bunch of bars. or you can go to quincy market (right between the north end and where you will be watching the game), a bunch of bars and clubs.

It's not exactly a dive but the best food and drink with fun within a 5-10 minute walk is the Boston Brew Works brewpub on Canal Street.

There are lots of bars around the Garden...there are a few dive ones (can't remember the names) and some not so divey ones. Go to boston beer works for food...they have good food and great beers. Have fun!

There's bars near the arena. But, I would also recommend going to Allston.

Oh there are tons of them around!! SOOO many but lots within a couple blocks of the arena... Just ask or follow the crowds, too many to name... you will hear SO MANY Boston accents!!
