If you table public funds, then there are a lot of restrictions placed on how you can collect and distribute other sources of income. So if you think you can raise more money on your own than you can on public money, it's best not to take the public money.

Big gesture for not a lot of money when you consider what liberal Hollywood donates. I assume public money to hims is the money most people give on their tax return ($2 a person). I never give it - I donate to individual candidates not party candidates. Free publicity. I guess is good for him but I would have waited to announce it at the official "I am running" announcement.

If he has money like that to not except any public funds then it's a great ideal. If it will hurt his campaign then it's a bad ideal.

NO IT JUST MEANS THAT HE WILL NOT EXCEPT TAX PAYER MATCHED FUNDS FOR HIS CAMPAIGN. HE WILL THOUGH COLLECT MONEY FROM PRIVATE INTEREST. HE SUX ANYWAY. THIS COUNTRY WILL FALL IF HE BECOMES THE PRESIDENT.
