Normally, this Empty-Nesting Single Retiree does EVERY THING she needs to do HERself .. including taking down dead trees in her rural lot, doing her own home renovations, building things for the home, and working on my car.
UNFORTUNATELY, I just broke several bones in my foot (and am now not standing at all -- because I broke the weight-bearing bones as well), and I have had to do something that I usually say "NO" to ...
And just HIRED a tree service to take down a dead tree in my yard.
I've had to deal with the reality that between the splinting, the long-term wear of the heavy boot, nd the fact that I'll need therapy that I need HELP to do this work, and yes, I'll have to Pay for the Service to get this danger down -- especially since it will be about the Start of a NEW Hurricane Season when I am finally going to get out of the boot that I've got to wear.
