I am looking to replace the knocker on the front door with a new one.

I think Home Depot has better quality. Why not check antique stores. The older ones are always a better quality. I do that when I want quality plumbing parts too, like faucets. I would definitly try antique stores.

the best set of knockers i have seen were at menards.Have really nice rear entry doors too.

Lowes is where home owners shop. Home Depot is for contractors. Dont know about Menards.

Home depot is exclusively home repair and has the biggest selection
