My mic. input on the back has been used to the point where it is loose and does not work. The card of this is also the card of the heaphone jack, line in, and line out. What do I do? Buy a new card? what is the card? new software? what, what what?

Purchasing a new Sound Card would be a good idea, you can get them pretty cheap or expensive as you want.

Take out the card. Get it soldered from outside.make sure its NOT done by you. its electronic chip and may cause damage to your PC if repaired unwisely. Re-install it and use it. If its very much worn out- It means its an old one and may not support the upcomin digital formats for long. My Advise: Update it, Buy a new one. Its a very cheap and important accessory.

Sounds like you've worn out the socket of your Sound\Audio card.

*IF* you know someone handy with a soldering iron and circuitboards, all they need to do is replace the mic socket jack for you.

Failing that, you'll have to buy a new sound card.
