*sigh* I am upset, mad, frustrated, angry, peed off, and any other "mad" word.
Why? Because NOBODY believes me that I didn't start a rumor.
About my 2 GOOD friends: Tori and Jacky. Here are the 2 rumors:
Rumor #1.) Tori said she hear from about 7 ppl that I started a rumor saying she was pregnant.
Rumor #2.) Ppl are saying that I started a rumor saying Jacky was pregnant, also.
Here's what I have to say about those:
R#1.) SHE DOESN'T EVEN LOOK PREGNANT. SHE'S MY GOOD FRIEND, I'M NOT LIKE THAT. I'M NOT A RUMOR-STARTER!
R#2.) ONCE AGAIN SHE DOESN'T EVEN LOOK PREGNANT! SHE'S ALSO MY GOOD FRIEND! I'M STILL NOT A RUMOR-STARTER!
But, thankfully I have other friends who say, "Sarah is NOT like that! She knows how hurtful it is to have a rumor started about her!"
And one of my best friends' dad works for our school. He's met me b4, and says that I'm not like that. I wouldn't start any rumors about ppl.
It still hurts. A lot of ppl are mad at me. I don't know what to do.
Help me

by the way I forgot to add: These rumors have been going on FOREVER.
Even the principal thinks I started them. Excuse me I have a clean record never gotten detention, suspention, a write-up, or anything like that.
And I am VERY consciencious about my permanent record. And I want to keep it clean.

If people are believing the rumours, even your school principal, and even your friends are believing that you might have said these things, then it is very obvious that you have a reputation for gossiping! If you gossip about others, or spend time with your friends speaking a lot about other girls, then your friends know it is possible that you said bad things about them too. What goes around, comes around!! Maybe it's time you changed your ways. You have to EARN trust and respect and your friends neither respect you nor TRUST you. There has to be a good reason for both of them to think you might have said nasty things. Look in a mirror and promise to change your ways!! Then ask your mom to call the girls and invite them over . With mom present, tell the girls that you did not start rumours and that you are sorry if they have been hurt. PROMISE THEM not to gossip any more and suggest that the three of you form a pact not to be gossip-gals about other people either~! You are very young so this is your chance to really grow up and show some maturity. Whatever you do about this will set the standard for the future. ( And, by the way, if you really might have said something that began the rumors, it is more mature to 'fess up and then beg forgiveness. Talk to your mother first and tell her what you may have done or said. Even if you lose friends, you ALWAYS have your mom.) Learn from all your experiences - bad or good.

If the two girls that are supose to be your friends dont believe you then they really arent your friends. Just Ignore the whole situation and move on. When in high school someone wrote a letter from me to my best friend then from my best friend to me. saying how we were lesbians and having sex with multiple people and that one or the other was pregnant when the fact of the matter is we were both virgins. whoever wrote the letters didnt even spell my name correctly big mistake but we ignored it and the situation went away. Maybe these two girls started this rumor about themselves it may sound rediculous but sometimes people do crazy things. Good Luck to you!

Honey, I feel you there. People instigate to start conflict. It happens to me all the time. You can't stop the idiots but you can get to your friends. Tell them that you would never hurt them, because you're friends. Friends don't do that. Question them: "Who do you believe, your friend or some random people?" or "Think about it, when people fight, what do you see? People standing around in a circle cheering it on, you would believe the "cheerers" over your own friend?"

I know it seems like the end of the world right now but everyone will get over it. Girls can be really terrible to each other and doing this kind of thing to each other is as old as it gets. You may send a note to everyone telling them that you did nothing wrong and that as women you all need to stand by each other, not be catty and mean. It's so sad that girls do these things to each other. I know, I went through it myself.

Ask your friends who told them that you said that, confront those people with your friends there. Tell them stright up, "you know I didnt tell you that so why would you say I did?" Sounds to me like someone is messing with you and wants to tear you away from your friends maybe because of jealousy. If when you confront these people they still say that you told them, ask them "when did I say that then?" and "where did I tell you that" You may be able to bust them in their lie in front of your friends and then they will surely believe you. Good luck. School sucks sometimes, kids can be so immature.

Don't get so worried. If your friends are not mad at you, you shouldn't care and you should let people know that you don't care if they believe you or not, that you know what the truth is and that is that you didn't start anything. If your friends are mad at you then tell them they are not real friends.

It isnt the end of the world sweetheart. Keep your chin up. If these people want to believe this about you then they are not true friends. Friends trust and respect eachother and wouldnt pay attention to rubbish in the playground. I wouldnt worry, you know you did nothing wrong and if they dont believe you its their problem. xxx

Been there! Talk to them and tell them it wasn't you. This may be hard because they dont want to talk to you but try. Dont grovel though. Say your piece and go from there. They need time to cool off too. I know it hurts and you feel like you dont know what is going on but keep your chin up. It will go away. :)
