how to you how if the booster pack has a holographic card?

i was reading this thing online that some people have ways of telling if a booster pack of cards has a rare or holographic without opening them!!! they are selling the answer in a book could you believe it well if you know please tell me especially yugioh and pokemon cards thank you

There's a holo in every pack of Pokemon. As far as I know there's no way to tell if your rare is good or bad or normal or EX. As for Yu-Gi-Oh, the only way to get holos without opening the packs is to weigh them with a pocket scale. Note: Chain stores have no way to prevent you from weighing your packs but they may ban you if you do it often and they catch you. Most hobby stores have a strict no-scale policy. Also, Ultimate Rare cards weigh the same as Rare cards so you may get an Ultra or Super Rare but miss out on the chance to get an Ultimate Rare card by weighing your packs.

With Pokemon and Inuyasha TCG, there's a holographic card in every booster pack. With Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering, there is no way to find out unless you actually buy them.

I don't know anything about any other TCGs.
