It is very simple. You try applying milk on your hair. Check the result for yourself. Prima facie, i do not think that is possible.

In the west we would be tempted to call your pooja an acid rain. It kills forests in North America and Europe. The taint comes from air moisture contact with industrial pollution. I'd like to think the hand touching actually plays no part in the pooja effects on scalp. It is a convenient explanation why hair might turn white for the older citizens and certainly easier than an explanation about effects of reduced calcium levels within the same people. Your
pooja belief is gentle compared with the wet death elsewhere.

Many of the activities, associated with worship cannot be easily explained. Your hair will, any way, turn grey at old age. All articles which are employed for worship are to be handled with care. Here, you are being advised to keep your wet hands away from the milky thierth, to minimise contamination. The same thierth is shared by many devotees. Whether you believe it or not, it is more hygienic to keep your wet hands away from the thierth.

Hello Miss Sweet,
I think you're a temple goer and the curd you speak on is about the prasadam given by the priest or his helpers to the devotees.
As long its not mixed with honey I think its save to apply on your hair if not just limit it to consuming alone.
If not maybe the need to dye your hair will arise in later stage in life. Hope I'm being right and have shared something use full to you. Bye

In fact, curd is good conditioner for hair. U can soak Henna in curd in an iron bowel overnight before applying it to ur hair. It brings shine, lusture, helps removing dandruff and conditions the hair.

Hi
According to me, some faiths will have strong reasons
For Ex : Our ancestors says that we need to apply turmeric on threshold of the house or else it is not good to member of the house ,
because scientifically turmeric is antibiotic , it helps not to enter the germs inside the house .
In the same way , there may be reason behind this .
