Is it possible for a Myspace account to be opened for you without your knowledge? I have an account, and when I set it up, it asked for details like your email, a password, your birthdate, etc. The reason I ask is because I did a search on someone, and I found them (the correct city, age, name, everything), but there was no other info in their account (like friends, about me, or schools). When I talked to this person, I mentioned it and they said that they never set an account up, but maybe one was automatically set up with their information. I don't think this is possible, but I thought I'd check. Thanks!

No, an account can't automatically be set up. It sounds like they made their account one day and just never logged in again and forgot about it. The only other thing that could have happened is somebody made it for them, but that's very unlikely. They'd have to know their birthday and all the other information.

It's possible that someone else could have set up the account for your friend. But I know that there are people out there who will set up an account just to be able to view other people's profile, with the exception with those profiles that are private. They usually won't have friends or a layout. Your friend may have signed up and doesn't want to admit. Who knows why?

No this isnt possible. Your friend either did have an account and didnt tell you or gave their information to somebody else. This cant happen. Myspace doesnt do anything with your email or password or birthday. you should try asking your friend if they have really made one or given their info out.

I have noticed a lot of pages like that. I call them dummy accounts. They usually have little or no activity and the page is very basic nothing personal. I wouldn't think much of it. If you asked the person about it and they said it's not them then it's not them. They can still make their own page without a problem.
