While Barcelona’s sights are scattered about the city, the Ramblas is close to the Harbor and Gothic Quarter, making it as central a location as one can find in Barcelona. Up and down, the Ramblas can be found a variety of shops and plenty of Hotels. At night the meridian of the Ramblas transforms, waiters appear, outside cafes open and street musicians hold concerts.

Not because I'm from Barcelona but it's the best city in the world to visit, it was not 20 years ago but it changed a lot since the Olympic Games in 1992. Now I live in LA and I miss BCN the night live , the people...and the food.

The streets of Barcelona are alive by day or night, providing the visitor with a safe place for strolling around, whether for shopping, eating or simply passing the time of day. There is also 1 mile long city beach with clean soft sand, ideal for sun bathing.
