Seriously folks, why haven't we caught Osama? He killed over 5,000 Americans.

He's in Saudi Arabia.
Think about it. He's Saudi, most of his funding comes from Saudi Arabia, 15 of the 19 hijackers on 9/11 were from Saudi Arabia so he knows he's got support and the Saudi Government has flat out refused to assist with any investigation into 9/11 or Al Qu'ida. The Saudi Government supports the same brand of fundamentalist Islam that he does. He knows US won't attack Saudi Arabia because the US is too dependent on its oil, it's actually able to defend itself, and because many of the leading figures in US Goverments going back 30 years have close ties to Saudi business, so he knows he's safe.
PLUS, Bin Laden needs dialysis - he has renal failure. Is he really going to be sitting in a cave in the middle of nowhere hooked up to a kidney machine, or is he going to be in the country with one of the best medical systems in the Middle East?
The reason he's not been caught is that too many people have a vested interest in not p*ssing off the Saudis to properly go after him.

I don't know. Why is it before 9/11 there were several video tapes of him spouting his retoric to his brainwashed followers and yet now the best that has come out are some audio tapes that experts agree may be Osama? I think he's been dead for a while and all we are doing is helping his legend live on.

He is in hiding because he doesn't want to get the same fate as Saddam Hussein. He is in a cave somewhere and heavily protected. Once Bush is out of office, osama will stop being a coward and come out of hiding (if he is still alive).

I think he is dead, which means he's either in hell or paradise enjoying his virgins. Had he been alive, he would have sent out a tape in November gloating to Bush over the Democratic takeover of Congress.
