Depends, you also need to know personality type. I dated a hot chick once and she was an absolute snob and only dated me because I was popular!! I have dated lots of not so attractive males and they are usually really nice guys. My guy now is hot and helps me with my son!

Since I am not gay, I would definitely pick the not so attractive male.
He probably doesn't get many dates, so he would be more willing to shell out more money on the date (yes, I said something gold digger-ish).
The pretty girl is probably used to being treated well, so you would have to shell out the money.
