Dont put yourself, or anybody else down for being American!..We here in the rest of the world dont!..{or most of us}..You unfortunatly have a President who is totally under the thumb of the big oil conglomerates and the military industrials!..They put him there!..They, and rhe extreme religious right in America, Totally control Dubyah!..If you put a man in the White House with an IQ the same as his shoe size, your asking for it!..You have to face it..When he speaks, even from his autocue, he's barely coherant and mispronounces words so badly, we cant understand him!..Its not your fault!..They bought his way to 'power' and they use him as their mouthpiece!..He doesnt know any better!..Dick Cheney is the real power here!..He is the 'corporate man'..He runs the whole show all for the profit of the big corporates!..But!..You see, one thing they have not been able to get rid of , despite their behind the scenes efforts, is the strength of the American people!..They failed to take away most of your rights!..They failed to utterly control you!..
They failed to shut you up!..They hate you, the American people, because in the end, they know you will chuck them all from office..The only thing they can do to stop you, is to declare marshal law!..And they will do this by engineering a terrible crisis!..Dont believe they wont,,They will if they have to!..But they will still loose!..Why?..Because of the will of the American people!

I am not an American but most of my family here in Canada are landed imagrants from the states. I would be very embarrassed to be an American at this state and time. I remember hearing in the news all of the Americans that were moving to Canada due to there upset in Bush. I believe this was within the last1-2 years

it's so easy to blame all of America's problems on one person, the President. When in reality there are countless amounts of people republican and democrat behind the scenes screwin crap up. But you can look at America like a shithole, or you can look at the way other governments of the world are run and feel sorry for the citizens of those countries who really live with a SHITHOLE government and a SHITHOLE economy. I get so damn sick of America being so worried about itself - TAKE A LOOK AT THE REST OF THE WORLD!

No. As a "Middle of the Road Politics" Caucasian person who speaks with a thick Southern accent in a Liberal Democrat "blue" area, I am the first target of any "reverse racism", or anti-Cracker prejudice around here. These overbearing "phony Liberal" Socialists (the "have not's) simply assume the drawl makes me an overbearing anti-environment Conservative, their sworn enemies (the "haves"). This year it has been intermittently worse than ever before. Whether Obama wins or loses, either way I expect more trouble, from even stupider people. Frankly, the recent affronteries make me proud to be what I am, an Independent Progressive Caucasian, in clear view of the alternatives. Incidentally, the word Cracker used this way is from the French "craceur", meaning "spitter". It is interesting that those using the term derogatively are the spitters. Regards, Larry.

I have never been embarrassed to be an American because of who the president is at the time. Nixon and Clinton embarrassed a lot of people, and Bush embarrasses a lot of people, but no true American should be embarrassed because of who the president is at the time.

no, I am embarressed that we have a congress that voted for us to go to war that stood by the war based upon information that came from dozens of credible countries and dozens of our own intelligence networks. When things get a little bit hot - they all jump ship. That is what emabrresses me the most -> who will jump up and down saying that we need to do something and when we do it and it becomes difficult they find a scape goat and tell everyone they really didn't want to do all. Bush has kept to his word - he has stood firm on his beliefs and principles. where as in congress both their beliefs and principles change with each new poll taken.
wait- Bush is a war criminal???? I seriously hope you have been under a rock since the carter administration- HELLO!!!! you probably don't beleive that radical islam exists ...right.

It isn't just bush, it's the left and the right screwing this country and playing the left/right game dividing the country and taking control of the poor ignorant sheep!
