Impossible situation? I want my friend back!?

My bestfriend met him online 8 yrs. In that time we have shared so much we know eachother better then anybody, we also fell in love. Both married kept the feelings at bay until year 7 when both of us wanted to really meet. We discussed fooling around decided against it but knew we both wanted to make love to the other after 7 yrs of hoolding back feelings. We did kiss a whole lot when we met and hug & afterwards he told me he plans tio divorce because after 8 yrs he knows Im the one. no word for 6 months so I contact him and say HI and he tells me he cant be friends because I was leading him plafces he cant go,but wants to go but cant.It was his idea to meet! I want my friend back but I do love him no question and so does he.can we make a friendship work now?

I know what it is like to love your best guy friend..I had the same problem but only then we went out and found out we are better off friends:)..We are still friends from this day. I think you guys canbecome the greatest friends again as long as oyu both know what you want

I am not sure if there is anything you can really do. Friendship has to be something mutual and as he says he can't go there with you. He might have just had a revelation or change of heart. Maybe he and his spouse have decided to renew their relationship. You have to just respect his wishes and move on.

All you can do is try to explain the situation to him and tell him you want to be his friend. But only he can make the decision to be your friend or not. Goodluck.
