My wife has a menstrual disorder thats apparently caused by stress, works long hours, is trying to build an online business, doesn't want to take birth control again cuz of the side effects, haven't had sex in a year, she makes the house look like hurricane katrina (I mean literally, despite my efforts to clean it, it's no use), no kissing, no hugging, no I love you, no going out anywhere. She's depressed about where she is in life, she's in her mid 20s and struggling to get out of a dead end job. My best friend, a girl, knows all this and is always convinced shes cheating, but how can a woman cheat if shes always bleeding all the time (and yes I mean all the time, maybe minus 1-3 days a month)? Whatever man she's cheating with would have to be sick in the head if you ask me.

I didn't have enough space to say everything I wanted to say above but the best girl 'friend' is actually ugly-looking so it would be stupid for people to assume I'm sleeping with her, even if she was pretty, I wouldn't consider it. And about her being a girl, well, I don't know, I just never found a close guy friend who i can confide in, I don't have a "wingman" so to speak like every other guy, although I would like one. I've tried everything to help my wife, she doesnt want my help, I tried cleaning that messy house by myself, took 9 hrs in 1 day, it was no use though. We tried 3 counseling sessions, it was going good but wasnt given a chance cuz she's not for it anymore, she says she's not in the mood to "fix things" right now, shes focused on getting her life back on track. I can't help her or make her feel good if she keeps telling me to f*** off all the time. She doesn't listen to me at all.

I don't think she is cheating at all. I don't think women crave sex as much as men do. I am also in my mid 20's and am struggling with my marriage. Working full time going to school in the evenings and having time for homework, cleaning, cooking, laundry and time for my husband is hard to manage. I also get help from him.
Stress and depression can cause irregular periods, either extended or completely delayed. I really dint think she is cheating on you and by you having a female best friend giving you that kind of advice I get a feeling if you leave your girl now your best friend will be your next girl friend.
To answer your question, it is possible to have intercourse even while on your menstrual period. When the heat strikes, sometimes nothing matters... However, if she's had it so long, she should see a doctor before she gets anemia which can lead to Leukemia.

First of all she needs to see a doctor. A woman who is trying to run a business and works that much, is not going to have time to clean. It's almost as if you are making her look worse so you have an excuse to cheat with your "friend"? Just because your friend says it, doesn't make it true. Maybe she wants you for herself? I don't know... just the perception I get from your question.
I do know she needs a doctor. Sit down with her and work out the chores, help her with the business... is it something she really wants? Tell her you are fed up if you are. Suggest counseling and some changes, and tell her if she's not willing to work that there will be consequences.

she can physically cheat, but I wouldn't say that is it. You sound disgusted by her bleeding all the time. She is probably aware of this to some degree and it would make her not wanna be close with you because she is self conscious about it. I would recommend marriage counseling at least because it sounds as if you guys are heading toward problems that have already affected your marriage, trust me, they just snowball if you don't deal with the problems. no sex, no love, no intimacy, that's no marriage, and it won't last. and it is both of you, not just one of you. it takes two. I would also suggest reevaluating the fact that you have a girl as a best friend. do you confide in the best friend more than your wife? does she feel threatened by your friend? this can dramatically affect her and she may not be voicing it to you. I would be sure to make sure you are keeping your wife first in your life and make her your #1 best friend. not to say you can't have female friends, but your wife should be your best friend, not some other woman. its just not good for a marriage at all. Goodluck.

First, has she tried to get help for this disorder? Because I don't know about other people but I would be depressed too if I bled all the time. It sounds like your wife is depressed, not cheating, and it is something that she most likely needs help with and fast. Consider counseling, but don't jump to the conclusion that she is cheating on you, she needs help though and the faster you help her get it, the faster you can start getting some love again.

It is possible but i do not think she is cheating at all. She needs to see a doctor for this disorder as well. There may be a way to help her with this. She also needs medical help and attention for the depression and you need to be there for her. If she is having this disorder she may be tired all the time and have not energy and i am sure she is in pain too. This is why the house is the way it is and there is not sex. She needs to see a doctor and you neeed to support and love her and help her get the help she needs. i feel bad for her. Tell you wife i am here if she needs someone to talk to... Also i recommend you go to http://www.drphil.com and email him and Robin for help and guidance in this matter.

Well your situation aside, I work with a woman who cheated on her husband while "on the rag" (on a lunch break, of all things) and actually told some people about it. Like I wanted to hear about that?!??! Ugh.
Your wife needs to get her butt and the rest of her into her doctor's office. She is on a collision course for disaster. I don't know what the disaster is, but with that kind of chaos and misery, it won't last forever. Something will give and it won't be pretty.

I doubt that she's cheating. If I had that kind of disorder, I'd be just as unhappy as your wife is. That time of the month is the one of the darkest times for a woman. It really plays with your hormones and emotions. I also hate to be touched and I become a little distant while that is going on. Be extra caring and considerate to your wife but if there's something she can do to stop the constant menstruation, I'd gently encourage her to take it.

Please have her complete checkup, I am quite sure she is hypothyroid. It is a condition where your body doesnt make enough thyroxin. It is very minor problem treated with a pill of artificial thyroxin once a day, and it is very commom in women 1 in 10 are hypothyroid and they dontknow it. it is minor but has severe side effects including abnormal periods, depression, lethargy, weight gain or loss, low libido etc.
i know this all because i went throught this, after our first baby and even my doctor was not able to detect it. i changed my doctor and she then asked for test.
search on internet you will find many sites on hypothyroidism.
you will learn alot.
one thing more seriously i dont like that friends of you, what kind of friend she is, instead of being kind she is being mean.

she might not be cheating and you need to trust your wife talk to your wife instead of that friend and tell her either keep the house clean or your divorcing her there is some reason that she hasn't had sex with you in a year shes too young not to be sexal active so if some man is stupid to **** her and she's bleeding your right he is a sickco manac then that is cheating if shes ****** some one esle follow her sometimes

It sounds like she may need to see a doctor about her mental health. They do make good medication if she is depressed. And a marriage takes work on both parts. Are you doing your part as her husband to make her feel sexy? and it doesn't matter if she's bleeding- I've had sex when I was on my period- it's not the most romantic thing to do but extremely plausible.
