and should we go for it all and make it the JLA vs. the Avengers?

I think it should go back to its original roots as much as possible consisting of Superman,WonderWoman, the Flash, Green Lantern(older classic version not john stuart), John J'onz - the martain manhunter, and maybe a few minor characters.
The villians should be the roots of The Legion of Doom from the superfriends(super Powers Team) saga.
Or they could go the avengers way but what would the point of them fighting be in the movie. Sure it would be cool to see superman go up against Capt America but whats the point.
It would be nice to see this movie with real people instead of a cartoon style like the avengers movie was(1 and 2) or the Iron man movie. There are tons of superhero cartoon movies out there and making this one just like that wouldn't get the same hype as if it was on the big screen consisting of real people in a real scenario.
The only flaw with the concept of having Justice League facing off against the Avengers is the one that can put this movie on hold for years to come. The fact of having DC heroes facing Marvel heroes is going to be a big deal to bring them together for the sake of this movie. There will be a hefty price to pay in making this movie being real or a cartoon that I doubt people will pay for it.
Great Concept for a movie but I don't think that they will have DC vs Marvel as the main concept. Maybe Justice League versus thier own villians.

A JLA movie? Animated or Live Action? Can't do JLA without Supes, Bats, and Wonder***s.

I'd rather see a Heroes for Hire movie, but in response to your question, they should use the line-up they had in the animated series, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, GL, Martian Manhunter and Hawkgirl.

JLA would have to have superman, batman, wonder woman, hawkman(or hawkwoman), martian manhunter, green lantern, flash, and aquaman. i would like to superman turn bad under red krptonite and the JLA try to stop him.
