If you complain about being an NFL widow that is rational? Baseball has 162 games and 11 minimum in the postseason. Basically from May to October is out. 6 months with games four or five days a week.
NFL (not adding college) is at most 20 games (counting playoffs) From September to the end of January. That is five months. (If you count preseason add spring training.)
Sunday, or an occasional Saturday, Monday, or Thursday night instead. Given one day to talk about the game before it happens and one day to talk about it after it happens.
What is better losing five days a week for six months or three days a week for five months?
In the minds of people who think a size 10 should be different than another size 10, or believe in the delicate cycle obviously the NFL is a graver concern.
Assuming that one never talks baseball and just watches the games but football has that pre and post day we have NFL = 60 vs. MLB = 173. Like it matters (Women are not logical) but the NFL uses up only 34.68 of the non-thinking seriously about the relation ship time as MLB.

Does that include college? High school?
What if a space ship came and zapped all the stuff you liked?
People would start new football games. Don't hate...participate!

Yes. Why not.
Bu it would be the greatest most sensational event for all mankind so far.
If those in the giant space ship did it, we may believe that they wanted to learn something thru their zapping. But I don't think it would be a peaceful event. The military would direct all its deadly missiles towards the spaceship. The populace would madly disorderly flee in great fear in all directions seeking hiding shelters. Many people would stand stiff, dumbfounded, maybe even shitting or just pissing in their trousers.
What an event!
You will never ever be bored for the rest of your life if you go into reveries about all the implications of such an incredible event.

you've gotta think it would be interesting. Football in space... It would sure make returning a kick interesting. I agree with MATTHEW B though. 3 hours once a week are better spent watching football than the same amount of time two to five times a week watching baseball, basketball, or hockey games (the lakers recently played 4 games in 5 nights).

No, football is fun.
Obviously, your boyfriend spends a lot of time watching football instead of paying attention to you. Why don't you take the time to observe the game and learn it. Ask your boyfriend questions when you don't understand stuff. It will make you look like a cool girlfriend and it will make him feel smart. Join him at this activity and its a win-win. I'm sure he does stuff you're interested in that he would rather not do too.
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!

NO. Football is the ultimate team game. If any one player does not do his job, the team as a whole is not successful. Baseball is a team game, but based on individual play. Basketball can be taken over by one player (Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan.) Football can be used in other parts of your life, like motivation, discipline. It is a great game.

no, why? football only has about 25 games a year, compaired with baseball or basketball who play over 100 games. I would think you would rather get rid of the other longer sprts and only have to deal with 20something games
