Notice his legs grow and bust out of his pants, his chest and arms grow and bust out of his shirt, and his feet even grow and bust out of his shoes, (heck, his face changes into a completely different guy), but apparently his waist doesn't grow a bit? The legs of his pants shred but the waist? The button doesn't even pop!! As much bigger as the Hulk is than Banner, you know he's gotta have a bigger waist size.....but the pants still fit!!

Special effects weren't always as great as they are now. Besides back then you would have never even thought of letting a guy POP out of his pants like you can see on tv nowadays.

That's the magic of television for ya. I guess it wouldn't have been cool for a giant green monster guy to be running around in his tighty whiteys. Probably a lot more interesting, but not as cool. I think I do remember the button on his pants being popped loose a few times though. I'll have to go back and check our DVDs!
