It's a bit early to start this...there are almost 2 years of the current administration and Congress to live through first. Let's all just take a big, deep breath and wait for the contenders to shake out. That's what all that primary activity is for. Lots can happen in the time between now and election day in 2008.

Quite honestly, as a democrat, I am sitting and waiting to see which democrat candidates are going to run a campaign against the war while voting for continued funding of the war in Congress. This may be the first time in my life that I switch parties in the 2008 elections. If the democrats play the "against the war" game with the public to win congress and run presidential campaigns while doing diddly squat in office then I will vote Republican then vote for hypocrisy.

No offense yet this is loopy. how are you able to tell your companion whether to vote or notice if she is a guy or woman of her own loose will. My spouse and that i do no longer consistently vote for the comparable applicants. as a rely of certainty interior the 2008 presidential election she voted one way and that i voted yet another. comparable element interior the contemporary gubenatorial race some weeks in the past. I on no account attempt to impression how she votes.

I was just thinking yesterday. You know how all of us are super encouraged to vote? To voice our opinion, to choose who/what we think is right. That way whoever wins and we did not vote then we cannot complain. But what if we did the complete opposite. What if everyone one in the public world took a stand, sort of went on strike, and did not vote. Not a single one of us.
What then?
What if we don't like the people running. What if we don't like their ideas? What if a collective Government was formed and not just one party? I don't care enough to follow politics to even care if this makes sense or not. I just want to see what would happen when the Governments actually become aware of the people.
When will taxes shut up, scandals cease, lies end?
When we DON'T vote.
Is that the answer? Probably not, but you'll never know I guess.

I am going to wait and hear what the candidates have to say before I decide who I'm going to vote for. My best advice is that you do the same, but if you want to choose now that's up to you.

I think you should wait until 2008 to make up your mind. A lot can happen in almost two years.

I think whoever you vote for make sure you have done enough research on that person and whoever it is that you choose I hope you have an open mind while making your selection.
