Go to hotmail.com and register from there. If you have any queries, do you know that you can contact Hotmail Customer Services via email, i've done it twice and they are actually very helpful and professional. You have to wait between 24 and 48h for the reply but it's definitely worth getting in touch with them!

I have a hotmail .com addy and i live in uk, iv had his for about 4 years now and i didnt have to give a false address they know im in uk, so unless things have changed of late. just do a seach for hotmail and look out for, sign up for a free(hotmail) account.
PS if you want to keep the same name, you can add a number on the end of it, meanx you will have 2 accounts but your friends wil at least know its you.

Im not sure about that, im the same as you i always wanted the .com 1 but couldnt.
I know that American uses have this, go to hotmail.com and sign up for an account like that, only problem is to complete it you would need a valid American zip code. If you can get hold of one though then that should all go through ok.
Good Luck

Ahh this is easy, just sign up at hotmail.com with a .com email address and when it asks you for a valid US zip code just pluck one off of the internet.
Instant @hotmail.com address!

You should use the "help" options on Hotmail instead of Yahoo! questions and answers. (It is in the upper right-hand corner of my CRT screen but it might be displayes somewhere else on your screen.)
