Nobody seems interested in a moderate view. Their interests seem limited to brow beating each other. The moderates in politics are like the parents in the front seat of a car dealing with squabbling liberal and conservative children in the back seat.
Moderates remain the majority in this country and usually decide the direction in which the country will go.

You should realize that you have an "enlightened" point of view. Unfortunately, this view is not shared with most americans, or for that matter, the world. Although I feel you're in the right category, keep in mind that people watching you on TV will find you not as interesting as some other wackos out there who shoot their mouths off about everything. So, people, as a group will not pay as much attention to you as some of those right or left wing nuts. And unfortunately, it's that miniscule intelligence we elect, and it's why decisions are either botched or ignored when push comes to shove.
However, keep demanding better people, keep voting, and talk about what you think with others, not just on the internet.

I agree. Perhaps the whole idea is to scare off (or bore to death) the serious guys, making way for the frivolous. Ask a trivial (preferably TV-related question) and you are flooded with answers. While something like this dies an unanswered death in 3 days. What does that say about the 'dumbing down' of our globalised, internetted middle-of-the-road types?

I try to pose interesting questions and thoughtful answers. I sometimes come here to argue (debate), but other times i really just want to see what people are thinking.
Yes, I am willing to change my mind, if the better argument is posted.
There are some very bright people here, along with the others. Pay attention to the smart ones. Good luck.

Let them sound like parrots. The only person they will convince with that sort of argument are the other brainwashed, like minded fools who believe the same way.

I think that has been the plan of our government for a long time. to ignore the average man. play on fear. divide us down the middle while they get rich. and they do get rich. do you honestly think the war will end if democrats get into office? the more things change the more thing stay the same. untill everybody wakes up.:P God bless you.

We are talk to all the time, what if feared most is that we will start thinking. We are being told what to think, and as long as we think what we are told to think, all is well with all sides.
IF YOU THINK YOU WILL BE DANGEROUS.
