Easy...he's delusional.
Or more aptly put, he knows of no way to bring an end to the insanity that he's begun. He'll never, ever admit to being wrong, so he'll keep the war going until the Democrats take over and are stuck cleaning up his mess.
There is absolutely no way on earth that anything good is gonna come of this, so it'll be a great opportunity for the War Pigs to make their opponents look bad.

Because he has briefings with commanders and generals out in Iraq that probably demand help, the more "back up" they have out there the safer and stronger the force therefore reducing deaths and hopefully a speedier end

I care about the planet, I care about my sister, I think preduce is wrong, I don't care if your a different religion, race, gender, or if your a million air or not, and I don't think I really care if you disagree with me. Bush can stick it up his butt. Thank you!

Thats what dictators do, whatever they want.
We have no say in anything anymore, and Bush makes no secret of it. Even congress is useless at this point, because they cannot do anything without his support, and he only supports his own views, everyone else is wrong in his eyes.
Just goes to show how blind he really is!

Oh, haven't you heard? He's the decider, not the people who put him in office, and the normal checks and balances don't apply to this administration.
