i have been on depo, three times.. i have never gone back for the second shot. this month i am. do they do a pregnancy test when you go back for the second shot?

i have not missed a shot. i am going back in a week or so for my second shot. i was just wondering if i would have a pregnancy test done or not. i hope i am not pregnant. but it is hard to tell, because the depo shot stops your period.

my dr gave me a pregnancy test only before my first shot and the second one.. after that as long as i was on time for the shot they never gave me another one.

when I was on the depo shot my doctor done a pregnancy test everytime before I got the shot.....

I am not sure what you are saying. Did you miss your last shot? If so than yes you will have to take a pg test. You cna't be on the depo shot if you are pg. good luck

My current Dr. does a pregnancy test each time...my last Dr. didn't...so I guess it's up to the doctor. You can ask them to do one if you think you might be pregnant.

Yes they will do a pregnancy test!! If not, then ask for one.
