I am having an enlargement procedure on Friday and I am struggling with the decision about where to incise. My 3 choices are areola, breast fold, and armpit. No one in my area does belly-button incisions, it's too new still. I told the doctor I wanted armpit, but the more I think about it, the more I think I would be self-conscious about raising my arms up and having it visible. Which incision did you get and are you happy with it?

You may want to ask your doctor about the implant warranty, if you had not already considered this factor, it could help you decide. I know when I got my implants, the manufacturer warranty was voided if the implant was placed through ANY incision other than breast fold or areola. If your implant should ever leak, rupture, or need replacing for some reason, you will have to buy a whole new set (they wont sell only one) and that's usually $3,000.

The areola leaves little to no scar from the incision.
The breast fold is the old way and leaves a big scar
I would go with the armpit b/c it heals better and it's not that bad plus the scars hardly show.

I went with the breastfold because I wanted to breastfeed my future children. Yes, it left a small scar, but years later, I was able to breastfeed. I know women who opted for the aureola, and later suffered complications from permanent numbness and inability to produce sufficient milk. So, there are pros and cons. I've known some women who opted for the armpit incisions, and their breasts were too far apart. I am very happy with my decision.

May be totally different with implants I jsut htoguht I'd give my 2 points worth. I'd go witht eh the armpit, I can't imagine the scar would be that big now days.

Breast implant surgery is very safe nowadays. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

My cousin got her Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps
