LSD changes your perception - it helps you see things in a different light. I have seem LSD turn a life around in a weekend by showing you the merits of an alternate lifestyle or the folly of your own. I have seen LSD ruin relationships by showing you something in your partner that you had not seen before. I think more than raising your IQ it can make you feel wiser perhaps for giving you a different perspective - but that can feel like your IQ has been raised.

LSD is not a toy - be very careful with it.

Peace!

No, Tim Leary he was an experiment enough and nothing much came out of him or his tests with LSD.

True that LSD may change your perspective so can beating yourself in the head with a lead pipe, blinding, hobbling, poring acid in your brain, removing part of your brain.

Surely we can get a different perspective with change. Change occurs in all things just not the way we'd like to think. Some people wish they could bust open vestigial organs like the third eye and hope to see weird stuff flying around but, that sounds ridiculous.

It's true if you cut one path off it forces you to take another. But, the long path has damaging results. It doesn't open new doors just doors that complicate your travels and distort reality.

LSD cannot improve IQ in any way. It might hinder usage in parts of the brain and leave you in a mental asylum.

Doubt it, since your IQ is already established by the time you're a little kid. IQ is just a number, though, and all sorts of experience can expand your mind in other ways.

Let me guess. Now you are asking all these questions because you wnat to validate trying acid. Bad idea. Bad human being. Keep your brain from frying. Just go ride a good rollercoaster for that adrenaline rush.

=) Just say no to yourself, like Nancy Reagan recommended. I would actually be interested in the outcome of your experiment, but wouldn't recommend that you do it...bad trips and all that.

And, of course, there's always the chance of getting stuck in a nightmare for the rest of your life...that's all.
