If you don't want to go to college, than you can go to one of the open try-outs for the Arena Football league. They don't care if you have experience or not, they just care if you're talented. And if you're good enough to excel in that league, than you may have a shot at the NFL.

The most common way is to go and play on a college team and then be invited to the draft. Hopefully you are then drafted by a team then you build up until you are playing on that team. There are other ways: A team holds try outs, You are seen by a scout, You get lucky.
