mean, hurtful, nasty things to me? he is so cruel. i don't understand why he trys to hurt me so bad? my ex husband also did this to me. why?

Don't let them do it. Stop talking to them, and tell them to not contact you.

Because some men dont know how to speak to a Lady/Woman. Ignore them. They are nothing special them selves. Noone has the right to speak to someone like S**t.

Because he knows you're bothered by it. It sounds like this is nothing new for you.
Distance yourself from these people and don't feel lonely and call them. It will start all over if you do.
Remember, you are a good person and you don't need people like them in your life.

sounds like you let people do this to you. Why. Dump him. don't let anybody make you feel bad. He is mentally abusing you. My ex did that to me too. he would always somehow make things that he did wrong my fault. Kick his butt to the curb and find a nice guy.,

because that is how alot of guyz are. i have a new boyfriend and my ex. is one of my good friends and still loves me and he trys and makes me feel bad and says nasty things to me because he feels bad

maybe they're doing those things on you because they're still hurt. they're suffering and because of that, they want you to feel the same way. i know it hurts, i know it's difficult, but try to talk to him.. if it still won't work, write him a letter and move on with your life. whatever he says, just keep your mouth shut. he'll get tired soon. throwing harmful words won't do good. atleast you know in yourself that you're not hurting any of them. live peacefuLLy and be happy.
