You've got to go with House. The character is acerbic, but as the series dictates, he has sharpest medical mind around.

This is a hard question to answer. Does one want beauty over brain when really sick or not. I would not want Jack or Derek to see me at my worst but if I had a problem with my brain that could be surgically cured then give me Derek. On the other hand, f I was dying and breathing my last I would love to be looking into the eyes of Dr. McDreamy as I go. I enjoy how House comes to his diagnosis, but geez, he almost kills every one of his patients before he gets it right. (I think one or two of the shows he actually did kill the patient and then tried to reconstruct what went wrong). Another issue: is he at his best on drugs or off? It's pretty obvious he is addicted to pain killers but when he tries to stop the drugs (or is forced to) the pain drives him to distraction which is not good for the patients. No matter what doctor we choose, one better have very good medical insurance because the tests alone they do on these shows would cost a year's wages, at least.

House because I rather have a doctor who knows what is best for me then a doctor who is worried that I am going to save him. He may be cold, but I am not looking for a nice sunshine doctor who gives me stickers. Plus...Doctor Chase is wicked hot...so I wouldn't mind having him help, too.

HOuse of course! Even though he's an a$$, you gotta admit, a good medical mystery makes him obsessed, so you know he wont be out on the golf course while you're dying.

Hmmm.....if my life really needed saving, I think I'd pick a REAL doctor, NOT a TV actor. Unless reading a script would save me.

I would get a real life doctor. Why? Because the fact that those doctors you just mentioned are fictional.

Dr. Burke is way better than shepherd. so i would choose him with Christina by his side.
