go to their website look up child support services.

I live in texas so this is the website that i go to

http://childsupport.oag.state.tx.us

once you find the website look for the address or talk to them by phone tell them that you want child support application and if you don't know his social security # nor driver license # try to reach his family get the information through them or close friends or go to his job and tell them the situation they are going to find out anyways becuase they are also the ones' taking out the money from his paycheck to you. but if you need more help on something im your girl... i didn't know his ss# nor his driver license nor his full name it was just a one time thing. on accident then he went to cali. told me that it wasn't his they had to do dna test it turns out to be his now he hasn't payed anything for child support because he is not working and we both are in two different state.. but im me or send a message to myspace. with this email address eolalde04@yahoo.com okay take care bye

If you find that you are not able to make ends meet and have to go on assistance the DA's office will do all the work for you with regard to child support. At that point if you attend the court dates and find that the father is ordered to pay more than you earn on assistance you can cease the assistance and get the money from the father directly. The courts will even allow the money to be sent via garnishment from employment so you don't have to have anything to do with the father. Seriously though, once you make this change expect the father to want to spend time with the child, because the more time he spends the less he has to pay. How sad, but true. My prayers are with you =)

well the first thing you have to do is get you the best lawyer ever cause your ex will probably make up some false statements and then set you a court date then after that then you bring a stub of what all the father has paided you and if he hasnt then just tell the judge that you would like for him to pay some child support because he doesnt give a **** about your child

Go to your family of support office and get an application to fill out. Then get as many pics of yall together or statements from someone who know that yall dated and have his baby. You might need to put where he works at on there and if you can't find him, you need his ssn or an address/phone number to where he can be reached. Then bring it back to the office and they will handle the rest.

Well, in CA, if you get on Welfare, part of the paperwork will be an application for setting up Child Support. Search your city and "child support services" online and look for your county/city's closest services (i.e. court house, judicial office). If you get on Welfare, your baby's daddy will have to pay it back.. and I believe there's interest building up if he doesn't pay. Good luck to you and your kid!!
