Buy a new one. The nail gun is one of the cheaper tools, and repairing it might cost you more than half of the cost of a brand new one.

Quite New Here is not quite right. The Bostich nail gun run between $200 and $300. The kit to rebuild it is about $15.00. Since you did not mention what problem you are having, I can not tell you what might be wrong. Also need to know if it is a coil nailer or takes a cartridge. The thing that I find most often needs repair is the trigger assembly. You can get all the O-Rings for that at a auto parts store for less than a dollar. When you pull the trigger assembly out you need to be careful you do not loose the small pins in the side of it. I usually hold it over a clean white cloth. If your gun is not feeding properly it may just be dirty. Spray some WD-40 on it and take air to it. A local hardware store may even have a kit for you. They would at least be able to send it in for you. You can also contact Bostich online and they are good at writing back to you if you contact them. It is a real good gun and they take their product seriously. You can email me too if you like. If you replace the O-Rings in your trigger assembly, just lightly coat them with Vaseline. Also be careful not to loose the spring that is inside. You will also need a set of allen wrenches and some small pin punches. I really would not take the end cap off where the air from your line goes in. It is just hollow in there and when you try to screw that large cap back on you may damage the threads, they are just aluminum. You might want to call the Home Depot tool department too. I hope that helped you some, good luck.

They can all be repaired. The most common problem is the trigger valve assembly. If you do repairs yourself, this is fairly easy to replace. If you have to pay for the repairs, depending on the gun, it might be less expensive to buy a new one. Brad guns are about $100.00. Frame and trim guns run $300.-$400. Trigger valve is about $12.00.
