Political Science is not in anyway a science. A science has to have expirements were a person can repeat and control variables. You cannot do this for political science. Political is more or less a specific type of history study

It definitely is a science. Serious political science research does used carefully defined variables and allows for repetition and verification, just like physical and life sciences. For example, there has been a lot of work done using complex statistical models to explain and predict voting behavior. People don't just say "I think old people voted for candidate A, because that's what makes sense to me." They use data to back it up, or else nobody takes them seriously.

It is science when one examines the inner workings of each defined government. It stops being a science when it becomes social engineering and students are not allowed to have their own opinions about government. They are told "what" to think, without close examination.

Science or other names are just labels we give to things when we don't know what else to call them. I guess it's just a way of trying to categorize something.
